TN schools to reopen on November

TN School Reopen Nov – 16 Postponed

The Tamil Nadu State Government has announced that the schools for classes 9 to 12 and colleges will reopen on November 16 2020 after Deepavali. On November 9 2020 the Tamil Nadu Government had conducted a meeting with the parents, teachers – parents association members the government has decided not to open the school on November 16, 2020.

In the meeting, the TN government has asked the opinion of the parents and teachers about reopening of the schools for classes 9 to 12 and colleges. Some parents and teachers cited on the side to reopen the schools and some other parents seated on the side not to reopen the school because they said the if the school get reopen the one student get affected by COVID-19 virus then it easily spread to other students. The student’s life is more important than reopening the school. Nearly 12,000 education institutions conducted this meeting to reopen the school review in the TN state. Approximately 40 to 45 percent of parents suggested not to open the school on November 16, 2020.

After getting the review from the parents and the teachers the TN government decided to postpone the decision of reopening the school on November 16, 2020. The reopening date of the school will be announced later and the feedback from the parents.

Similarly, the TN government conduct a meeting with the colleges and universities about reopening. The college and universities will open on December 2, 2020, for the Postgraduate final year students for science and technology streams. The hostels for the students are also allowed to open and they have the follow the restrictions issued by the government. The college opening of the other stream students will be announced later.
